LM Industries Group, Inc. was proud to participate as mentors in the IACMI internship program in 2018. The program hosted its largest group with 43 interns placed in 21 project locations across the United States.
The program is designed to develop the advanced manufacturing workforce in composite growth within the automotive, compressed gas, and wind sectors. For nearly three months, IACMI interns William Henken and Susan Schickling worked with LM Industries, IACMI mentors, Charles Hill and Sean A. Diehl at the Local Motors Micro-factory in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Both Susan and William were presented with Letters of Appreciation at a congratulatory luncheon in their honor for their successful completion of their internships. Both Susan and Williams’ final projects will remain on display in the Local Motors Micro-factory show room for remainder of the year.
